This is a space where the cosmic, the technological, and the vaporwave coexist; where past and future merge into the present; where emotion and reason unite into a single feeling; and where art and science intertwine with a shared purpose, the expression and curiosity that arise from within me to manifest as art.
My work moves through transhumanism, tracing the edge between the human and the artificial, the biological and the designed, the mortal and what comes after, approached without judgment, only precision. Ladies and Gentlemen,
Welcome to my Universe...
This is a space where the cosmic, the technological, and the vaporwave coexist; where past and future merge into the present; where emotion and reason unite into a single feeling; and where art and science intertwine with a shared purpose, the expression and curiosity that arise from within me to manifest as art.
My work moves through transhumanism, tracing the edge between the human and the artificial, the biological and the designed, the mortal and what comes after, approached without judgment, only precision. That same curiosity draws me toward the sciences that inhabit my art; psychology, physics, and biology, three disciplines through which I explore the depths of the human mind, the immensity of space and time, and the evolution of life, from what we have been to what we are becoming.

ABOUT ARLYN LIGEIA
LUCA DESCENDANT…
Ligeia, also known as Arlyn Ligeia, is a multidisciplinary Peruvian artist working in film, music, fashion, and art.
She grew up in Moquegua, Peru, far from any film, music, or fashion industry. Film and music became her natural language, and without access to either world, she learned to build her own. She studied Psychology at university and, as complementary training, Audiovisual Communication and Fashion Design and Management. She currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a diploma in Fashion Design and Management.
In 2021, she directed her first audiovisual work, a music video for an independent band, marking the beginning of her career as a director. In 2024, she wrote, directed, filmed, starred in, and edited her first short film, taking on every role of the production from start to finish. That same year, she applied to and was admitted into the Master's Program in Performing Arts at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She chose to postpone this achievement to fully commit to building her own body of work.
After completing a music video and a short film, she is currently producing her first fashion collection alongside a medium-length film, while simultaneously working on her debut album and her first feature film.
Ligeia's artistic journey is a conscious search for inner authenticity. She embraces her femininity alongside her interests and passions, without separating them. In the face of neutrality, she firmly chooses visual and sensory stimulation as an act of fidelity to herself.
Ligeia defines her art as authentic and visceral, a space where she freely explores female desire. She identifies with the archetype of the femme fatale and femininity as a deliberate force, a reflection of herself that becomes a recurring theme in her work. She rejects being pigeonholed. True art asks no permission.

SS27 ANECHOIC CHAMBER 57
ANECHOIC CHAMBER 57 is a prêt-à-porter collection for Spring/Summer 2027, born as an extension of the medium-length film of the same name. Both projects were conceived in parallel as a critique of growing social homogenization and the weight of repression on the contemporary individual.
The project began in February 2025, when the color palette that would guide the entire proposal was defined. Three months later, in May, the first sketches and structural elements of the collection began to take shape. However, financial setbacks forced the postponement of both the collection and the film. The collection's launch is set for October 2026, a date strategically chosen as the season's culminating event.
Aesthetically, the collection embraces an explosion of color and a silhouette of strong feminine character, inspired by the femme fatale archetype — powerful, enveloping, and theatrical.
